Tallink gives toasters for Christmas

What does crassness do to a stock price?

With their own brand of holiday spirit, Tallink sent toasters to its suppliers and media companies. The question is: Did anyone find it funny?

Last November, news reached the public that Tallink’s management, after the infamous row with their own crew members aboard the Silja Symphony, tried to heat up a fish filet in a toaster which burst into flames.

We generally like the Estonian sense of humor, but maybe we’re missing something here. Wouldn’t sending boxing gloves be funnier?
