Estonian Air upgrades fleet with a Boeing 737-300

Passengers, please now stop complaining.

Those of you discussing the airline industry in our forum will be happy to know Estonian Air has replaced its 737-500 with a bigger, better Boeing 737-300. The aircraft will be called Kalev and will start regular flights as soon as the paperwork is in order.

Last year, the airline rented planes from other firms repeatedly, mainly because of technical problems with its own planes. The Estonian daily, Eesti Päevaleht, estimated the airline suffered a 50 million kroon (3.2 million euros) loss in 2006, though the airline says the financial report is yet to be compiled.
