Estonia's Eurovision song: "Partners in Crime"

No, it’s not about the coming elections

Last Saturday, Estonians chose their song to compete in this year’s Eurovision contest: Gerli Padar singing “Partners in Crime.” The song was written by Hendrik Sal-Saller (of Smilers fame) with lyrics by Berit Veiber. We like Gerli, because she seems a positive person with a decent voice—not a bad ambassador for Estonia. But, please, can’t we give her better than this banal song with kindergarten lyrics?
