Saku puts job ads on beer bottles
Proves necessity is mother of invention
Estonia’s largest brewery Saku Õlletehas launched a hiring campaign to find 60 new workers by placing help-wanted ads on beer bottles. Saku placed special “neck talkers” around beer bottles, in addition to ads in public transport vehicles.
Saku representatives said that considering the tense situation in the Estonian labor market where it is complicated to find even two employees, they decided to resort to marketing measures to find new staff.
Rumor has it--this reporter has not seen them--that the neck talkers are printed in extra-large type so that they may be read while inebriated.
