Estonia posted this winter’s cold record last Friday morning when temperatures fell to minus 33 degrees Celsius. Estonia’s cold record dates back to January 17, 1940 when in Jõgeva, the thermometer showed minus 43.5°C.
As of this posting, itÂ’s already started to warm up, and City Paper concludes itÂ’s safe to visit.
