Cruise Ship spotted in Port of Riga

Crew apologizes, cites heavy fog, asks directions to Port of Tallinn That used to be the joke the Estonians made about the Latvians, since Latvia couldnÂ’t seem to get a cruise ship to dock. But AS Tallink and the Riga Port Authority's Supervisory Council have agreed to launch a new Stockholm-Riga route. The agreement isnÂ’t in writing yet, so nothingÂ’s definite. We wonder if others see the irony: Tallink is an Estonian company. The Swedes come to Latvia and the Estonians make money. Go figure.
