Lithuanians trust church most
But the bank is a close second.
Seventy percent of Lithuanians trust the church, according to a survey conducted by Baltijos Tyrimai in February of this year. 67 percent of all respondents expressed faith in the Bank of Lithuania. Perhaps surprisingly, 62 percent of respondents said they trusted the media. LithuaniaÂ’s presidency, currently held by the much-loved Adamkus, garnered only 54 percent of LithuaniansÂ’ trust.
