Lithuania courts the French
Je crois que je vais prendre une omelette. But not with Talleggs!
Lithuania will try to attract more French tourists at the international tourism exhibition, Salon Mondial Du Tourisme 2006, which opened yesterday in Paris. Alvitis Lukosevicius, head of the Lithuanian Department of Tourism, says Lithuania is attractive to French people because of non-urbanization, rich historical heritage, ethnic peculiarities, dynamic cultural life, diversity of services, and attractive prices. And, of course, you’re less likely to get food poisoning there.
