Vilnius feels travel writer's wrath. Again.
This time it’s the L.A. Times
No, it’s really not that bad. Most of Beverly Beyettee’s article in the L.A. Times is a prosaic regurgitation of a travel brochure you’ve read a dozen times, but she does take sides: “[Vilnius] was my least favorite of the three capitals; Tallinn's old town seemed more intimate, Riga more cosmopolitan...” Of course, every tourist has a favorite, but it does seem the world is coming down hard on Lithuania lately.
