Estonia's ex-PM Laar wins Milton Friedman Award

The Milton Friedman award for promoting freedom is issued every two years will go to Estonia’s former prime minister Mart Laar. The award will be presented in Chicago and carries an honorarium of 500,000 dollars. Laar has said that Milton Friedman’s Freedom of Choice was the only book on economy that he had read before he became Estonia’s prime minister in 1992.
