While the average price for older apartments in the center of Vilnius reached 10,000 litas (2,896 euros) per square meter this year, the real growth is in the seaside towns.

Small seaside towns report the following growth in price: 178 percent in Silute, 171 percent in Plunge, 154 percent in Taurage, 114 percent in Gargzdai, 100 percent in Kretinga. Towns in the ethnic region of Dzukija report growth of 143 percent in Prienai and 115 percent in Varena.
