Estonian line dancers set a Guinness record

But nobody knows how many dancers

Estonian line dancers posted a Guinness record Sunday in the Audru parish in Pärnu County. The dancers formed a 2.1-kilometer line and broke the record set in Germany last year. But the glory is not Estonia’s alone: dancers from Finland, Latvia, and Norway also formed part of the line which bested the German record by approximately 100 people.

Still, no one is quite sure how many dancers took part. After the dance, participants were counted several times but a different number resulted every time. Organizer Kaie Seger said that in order to get an exact count, video from a helicopter will have to be watched carefully. There was no information whether those on the ground responsible for counting had access to beer.
