Where do Latvian prison escapees flee?
To Lithuania and Poland, of course.
Border guards at the Lazdijai border crossing arrested four suspects who were trying to illegally cross the Lithuanian border and enter Poland. The four were dangerous criminals who escaped from Riga Central Prison this past Wednesday. Three of the detainees could not present the border guards any identification, and the fourth carried a passport issued to a twenty-five-year-old Latvian citizen. The four are back in jail.
