U.S. Ambassador Wos to depart Estonia

This week, U.S. Ambassador Aldona Wos announced her plans to return to the United States. President Bush announced his intention to appoint Stanley Davis (Dave) Phillips, chief of Phillips Industries, as the new ambassador to Estonia. Mr. Phillips was a Ranger-level contributor to the Mr. Bush’s 2004 campaign. Mr. Phillips, who comes from a North Carolina furniture dynasty, has served as the North Carolina’s Trade Secretary and as a board member of the Smithsonian Institution in Washington.
