Estonia:

July. 03, Episcopal Castle, Haapsalu:  The legendary German techno group Scooter will be coming back to Estonia to perform for one night in the 800 year old castle. Maybe the famous White Lady ghost will be in attendance as well.

July. 04-08, Song Festival Grounds, Tallinn:  The Baltics' biggest Beer festival "Ollesummer" will astound you with over 100 concerts of Estonian national music, rock. Reggae, and hip-hop. Combine that with loads of cheap beer, and you have one of the biggest events of the summer.

July. 10 – 11, Parnu Concert Hall, Parnu: The quaint city of Parnu presents their annual Opera Days with performances of "Aida" and a large gala concert.  

Jul. 30, Song Festival Grounds, Tallinn:  50 cent and G Unit will be sharing their extremely popular R n'B and rap with the Estonian audience before the release of the new album Before I Self Destruct in Sept.

Aug. 04, Song Festival Concert Grounds, Tallinn: Pop queen Madonna, as part of her Sweet and Sticky 2009 tour, will be strutting her stuff for one night only in Estonia. After party with Paul Oakenfold at Club Hollywood.

Latvia:

June 29- July 05, Riga Congress Centre, Riga:  Riga's Ritmi jazz and rhythm festival this year features some of the top names in the biz, sure to excite and get you moving. The festival even includes master classes for those wishing to fine tune their skills. Marilyn Mazur, Maria Joao, Intars Busulis and more will be performing.

July 24-25, Liepaja Beach:  Baltic Beach Party the much awaited yearly music festival gets bigger and better with September and her hit "Cry for You", Britain's Guru Josh Project, Mumiy Troll from Russia and various other Latvian and Baltic bands. So put on your blue tops and white shorts and groove on down to the beach. 

July 17-18, Salacgriva: Summers in Latvia are full of festivals, and Positivus Festival is bringing together some of the greatest modern artists performing for only two days. Moby and Sinead O'Conner headline along with Latvian group Brainstorm and Peter Doherty. Get ready to rock out!  

Aug. 09-12, Dzintari Concert Hall, Jurmala:  The fifth International Music Festival Summertime kicks off with Inessa Galante and friends classic preludes. Taiko drummers from Japan, and the Tango Negro Trio from Argentina will also be lighting up the stage with their talents.

Lithuania:

June 25-28, Vilnius Square and other venues:  Jose Buarque (Spain) & Olga Vall (Spain) head up this year's Baltic Tango Festival. Next to Argentina and Spain, Lithuania is quite well known for their passionate tango dancing. Along with some electronic tango experimental projects by Tango Gatos, the festival is sure to heat up the night. The event is also perfect for those wanting to fire up their dance skills and learn some new moves.

July 01-06, Various venues and churches, Vilnius: The biggest event in Lithuania is the Song Festival, celebrating over 1000 years of Lithuania this year. Featuring thousands of singers from all over the nation, as well as diaspora choirs from abroad, this event is sure to be the highlight of any visit to Lithuania. 

July 10-11, Regional Park of Varniai:  The annual Blues Nights event draws many talented blues musicians from all over the world. Topping the list this year are The Blues Caravan, Dwayne Dopsie, and more!

June 28- Aug. 30, Various venues, Vilnius:  No matter what your musical cup of tea, everyone is sure to be satisfied at the Christopher Summer Festival. This year the much awaited festival features some of the best in classical music, in venues all over town. Beethoven, Schubert, Bach and Haydn are just a few of the well known composers whose music will spill out into the streets during this long festival.
